Our Dentistry Team

At Dento Mak Dental Surgery, we have two dentists, Zaklina and Sharon.

Zaklina Petrovska is our principal dentist. She finished a bachelor of dentistry from a dental University in Skopje in 1989. Apart from Macedonian and English, she is also fluent in Serbian and Bulgarian. She moved to Australia in 1994 and passed the ADEC exam at the University of Melbourne to practice dentistry in Australia. After that, she was offered a job at the Royal Dental Hospital, where she worked before opening her practice in Epping, where she is still working. She has been practising there for more than 20 years.


She is passionate about all aspects of dentistry but is especially interested and passionate about aesthetic dentistry. She always tries to make her patients feel comfortable and make their dental experience as pleasant as possible. As one of our patients said, “she is one of the only dentists that can make you laugh while fixing your teeth.”


She prides herself on educating every patient to ensure they know how to care for their teeth and gums. She always puts the patient's wellbeing and interest before anything else.


Sharon Chui came to Australia as a child from Hong Kong. Apart from English, she is also fluent in Chinese, Mandarin and Cantonese. Sharon graduated with a bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry from La Trobe University. Since then, she has worked all over Victoria. She practices general dentistry passionately, loves endodontics and has good experience in implant insertion and restoration. She is also very experienced with quick smile braces.


Her enthusiasm for dentistry also motivates her to give talks to children in schools about oral hygiene.
